Korma was first mentioned in the XVII century as a small town in the Rechitsa district, Minsk province, in the Great Duchy of Lithuania.
Nowadays Korma is an administrative, economic and cultural center of a district; its population is above 6 000. The industry of the district includes three officially registered enterprises. They are a printing enterprise "Policolor", an industrial complex, producing building materials, and a manufacturing enterprise "Korma Agroservis".
